The latest episode of Haruhi continued the Tameiki (Sigh) arc’s coverage of the SOS-dan’s foray into filmmaking for Episode 00 “The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina”, making for one of the funner episodes of the second season thus far, especially for those who have a good memory of the original’s bizarre pilot episode.

For those interested in a bevy of screencaps, accompanied by some light commentary, another episode summary is available below…

Lately it seems the centuries if not millenia-old Japanese fascination with boys in skirts has been projected to previously unheard of levels of (in)exposure, with one even managing to infilitrate into the depths of the Idolmaster franchise.

The above image demonstrates how these delicious traps are now found in plague like proportions.

Anyone looking to exercise their pederastic knowledge may wish to take a close look, and anyone capable of identifying them all clearly deserves the title “trap master”…

The PS3 remake of bouncing ninja action game Ninja Gaiden 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, is set to receive what may be the first truly noteworthy use of Sony’s highly original Sixaxis motion sensing controller: players can shake the controller, causing the breasts of female characters to move correspondingly.

As some wag puts it, Tecmo are “staying abreast of innovation.”

Whether this adds anything worthwhile whatsoever to the gameplay is highly questionable, but it is sure to boost sales amongst the all-important ronery demographic.

More important are the slew of other sexy features promised

The game is due in October

PS3 3.0 Firmware Adds Xbox Beating Features

Friday, September 4th, 2009

ps3-playing-pantsu-shoujo.jpg

Sony is clearly not content to rest on what is left of its laurels, for it is apparent the latest 3.0 PS3 firmware, which has supposedly been shown to increase speeds, adds several notable yet unannounced features sure to challenge the Xbox 360’s infamy.

Users report inexplicable freezes in several games, sound problems in others, and that the update actually breaks certain models of PS3 controller.

Many who have bought the newly released PS3 Slim only to have their controllers rendered inoperative have expressed grave dissatisfaction, though for now the problems do not seem hugely widespread.

If Microsoft’s record for introducing new unexpected features and improving the design of their console is anything to go by, Sony will still have its work cut out catching up…

Policemen Force Woman to Urinate: “We Didn’t Look”

Friday, September 4th, 2009

forced-urination.jpg

A woman is accusing male police officers, who held her down and forced her to urinate for them, of a criminal human rights violation.

The woman, in her twenties, was taken into custody after causing a ruckus at her Osaka home. Police then obtained a warrant, and ordered the woman to urinate for them, with three male officers holding her down.

The woman launched a case against the police, alleging their procedure was an illegal violation of her human rights, and saying she “felt terror equivalent to that of rape.”

In their defence, they point out that one woman officer was watching as she was being restrained, and that “we turned away and that was enough.”

Analysis of her urine would demonstrate she was using stimulants at the time of her domestic rampage, with blood and urine samples being sufficient grounds for prosecution under Japan’s absurdly draconian drug laws.

Her counsel asserts that this evidence was obtained illegally, and so cannot form the basis of a prosecution.
